Guest speaker Stephen Pednault, CPA/CFF, CFE presented an interesting lecture on Avoiding Exploitation in the Digital Age on Thursday, October 18th. Pedneault, a well-known local Forensic Accountant & Fraud Investigator, shared info on the most common frauds perpetrated online, over the phone & in person. We learned about the red flags of a swindle and how to develop a healthy skepticism for our environment.
