3 Things We Learned From Hurricane Sandy

Hurricane Sandy has left its devastation.

1) Be Prepared

The Boys Scouts Motto was clearly appropriate here. In Connecticut, where we live, the State of Connecticut certainly seemed more prepared than they were last year for Hurricane Irene.

2) Be Respectful of Mother Nature

Hurricane Sandy was unbelievable.  And so it goes with Mother Nature. This was just another reminder that she is in charge.

3) Be Grateful

You don’t have to wait for Thanksgiving to be grateful.  You can be grateful every day.  Losing your power, property or worse, is that gentle reminder to be grateful every day. Don’t wait for the next storm or other event to be grateful again.
