Shred Week A Huge Success

Borgida & Company Clients Save the Planet While They Clean Up!

 

Dozens of clients joined in for our first “Shred Event” last week. Eight very full, heavy bins full of old financial documents, checkbooks, tax returns, etc. were shredded as relieved clients unloaded years of unneeded documentation. Over 1,800 pounds were collected last week.

Bring your boxes, bags or armful of papers to our office (Manchester office only) between Monday, January 23rd through Friday, January 27th (9:00am-5:00pm) and we’ll take care of the rest. We have contracted InfoShred, a CT leader in secure, off-site document destruction, to handle our shredding request.

Borgida welcomes Veronica Greiner

We are excited to welcome new employee Veronica Greiner to our team. veronica

Veronica is a new Staff Accountant at our Manchester office.  She has over 20 years of experience in banking, client relations, small business and personal taxes. Her enthusiasm and friendliness are a great compliment to our team.  Her hobbies include taking walks, spinning and cooking.

She resides in South Windsor with her husband and three sons.

Farewell to Gail

2016 Food Drive A Big Success

This year’s Borgida & Company Food Drive was another big success.

Along with over 1,000 pounds of food donated to M.A.C.C. Charities Food Pantry, the firm and its clients donated over $750 in monetary contributions as well. MACC employees shared their appreciation and commented on how great the need was. On the day that we made our delivery, they had stocked up fifty families.

We would like to thank everyone who donated towards the food drive this year. (See pictures below.)
